Founded in 2012, Samarth Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women, youth, and children from underserved rural and urban communities. We work to create sustainable livelihoods and improve quality of life through skill development, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and community development initiatives. Over the years, we have positively impacted more than 10,000 individuals by equipping them with practical skills, enhancing their employability, and promoting self-reliance. Our programs focus on vocational training, entrepreneurship development, personality and communication skills, digital education, and social welfare, enabling individuals to become confident, financially independent, and active contributors to their communities. At Samarth Foundation, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. Through our community-driven approach and commitment to inclusive development, we continue to build stronger communities and empower people to lead dignified, productive, and sustainable lives.

World Environment Day Celebration
On the occasion of World Environment Day, we organized a drawing competition to promote environmental awareness among children and youth. The event encouraged participants to express their ideas on nature conservation, cleanliness, and sustainable living through creative artwork, inspiring greater responsibility towards protecting the environment.
International Women’s Day Celebration
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we organized a special celebration at Kannada Bhavana, bringing together around 350 participants to celebrate women's achievements and promote gender equality. The highlight of the event was the drama "Bhava Byragi Akkamahadevi," which delivered a powerful message on women's empowerment, dignity, and social awareness through a compelling cultural performance. The program was inaugurated by Noor Unnisa Madam, Member Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Tumakuru, who addressed the gathering and led an interactive session on women's rights, challenges, and legal awareness. Representatives from Munnade, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, and Lekhakiyara Sangha actively participated in the event, which also featured inspirational songs promoting women's empowerment and social sensitivity. The celebration successfully encouraged awareness, community participation, and collective commitment towards gender equality and women's empowerment.
Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) Training Program
Under the Skill Development Program supported by the Ministry of Textiles through the Capacity Building in the Textile Sector (Samarth) Scheme, and in collaboration with KSTIDC, Samarth Foundation successfully conducted Sewing Machine Operator (SMO) Training for 130 women between the ages of 18 and 45. The training was organized in six batches, with daily sessions from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, primarily benefiting women from rural and socially disadvantaged communities across four taluks. Along with hands-on sewing and garment production skills, the program incorporated Personality Development and Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) sessions to strengthen participants' confidence, improve their employment prospects, and encourage self-employment and entrepreneurship in the textile sector.
