About Us

Samarth Foundation

Our work is vital to reduce inequality, improve access to essential services, and uplift vulnerable families facing social and economic challenges.

Founded in 2022 by a passionate group of individuals, Samarth Foundation was born from a shared dream, to transform sustainable development from an aspiration into a living reality. The founders, coming from diverse fields such as environmental science, social work, and community development, were deeply concerned about global challenges: climate change, biodiversity loss, economic inequality, and social injustice. With limited resources but limitless determination, the journey began from a modest office. Over time, Samarth Foundation grew into a trusted and impactful NGO working across and beyond.

Events

Health Awareness Camp for Women

A dedicated health camp was organized to provide essential health checkups for women in marginalized communities. Doctors and health workers educated participants on nutrition, hygiene, menstrual health, and preventive care. Basic screenings such as BP, sugar, anemia, and BMI were conducted free of cost. Women received counseling on managing daily health challenges using simple home-based methods. The camp raised awareness about early diagnosis and regular checkups. Local ASHA workers collaborated with us for better community outreach. The activity benefitted women across Bettiah and nearby rural areas.

Programs

Digital Literacy Program

This ongoing program provides digital education to children, youth, and women who lack access to technology. We teach basic computer operations, typing, online safety, and internet usage for education and employment. The program includes hands-on sessions with laptops and tablets. Young learners gain confidence to continue studies using digital tools. Job seekers learn how to prepare resumes, search for jobs, and use online platforms. Special batches are designed for women and school dropouts. The program is currently active across West Champaran.
