On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we organized a special celebration at Kannada Bhavana, bringing together around 350 participants to celebrate women's achievements and promote gender equality. The highlight of the event was the drama "Bhava Byragi Akkamahadevi," which delivered a powerful message on women's empowerment, dignity, and social awareness through a compelling cultural performance.
The program was inaugurated by Noor Unnisa Madam, Member Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Tumakuru, who addressed the gathering and led an interactive session on women's rights, challenges, and legal awareness. Representatives from Munnade, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, and Lekhakiyara Sangha actively participated in the event, which also featured inspirational songs promoting women's empowerment and social sensitivity. The celebration successfully encouraged awareness, community participation, and collective commitment towards gender equality and women's empowerment.
